My time in Wales was such a conflicting period in my life. There was some really enjoyable moments, I graduated, I got my first job in the creative industry, I met some interesting people and learned a whole lot of things about myself and who I wanted to be But for the most part I honestly disliked it. It was a massive culture shock for me and I never was really myself or felt comfortable. Maybe cause I didn’t have family super close I don’t know. There’s people that I know I’ll catch up with and people that I will never hear from me again LOL but that’s life. I saw during the summer someone I studied with profit of the BLM movement producing a tacky poster for sale to show “support” which made me laugh at how performative it was but that’s for another day. One thing I’m thankful for is that I grew as a person and became a better person for it. I’m now in a better headspace now that i’m back in London for good. I will be grateful for the good, bad and damn right moments in Wales, it made the boy a man.
This video is to celebrate that period of my life and I hope I can finally close that chapter in my life. Hope you enjoy it
